Hi, this is my first try at fan fiction, It's base on Japanese famous manga "Conan" hope everyone will enjoy reading this.-----------------------------------------
The rain poured mercilessly from the sky, droplets of rain covered every inch of his shirt as he ran towards the shelter. He remembered situations like this, and how the shelters were never big enough to cover him, and he ended up soaked anyway. But this time he was completely sheltered. It has been a whole year, but he still finds this body hard to get use to. “Like the rain,” He said to no one in particular, “…here to stay.”
When the rain begins to ease up, Conan walked slowly towards home. He wondered if Ran is home yet. Uncle Mori was invited to a show as a special guest overseas, so now this little office which they called home belongs to the young ones. “One of the advantages of being small I guess, if I was my original self…” His sentence is cut short as he imagined Uncle Mori’s face; if he found out he was actually Shinichi. He reached the house as the sun begins to set, and closed his hand on the door handle. With no warning, the door swung open. The outwards force took him by surprise, Conan staggered backwards, but soon regretted the choice as a hand appeared from his back and covered his nose and mouth with a rancid smelling clothe. He tried to struggle and scream, but can only produce a faint muffle sound and forceless kicks. He was losing consciousness, fast. The figure standing at the door way closed in, he was draped in black, dark coloured garment covered him from top to bottom. He lights a cigarette, and the twinkle lights up his face. Conan’s blood ran cold. The dark figure’s face is emotionless, blank and cold, a killer’s face. Conan’s world starts to fade, and everything slowly goes to black.
Conan woke up feeling as if his body does not belong to him. He ached everywhere and his head feels like someone tap dancing inside. He noticed that he is apparently inside some abandoned housing complex. The window was barred, and the only thing he can see outside is grass. Overgrowth so thick and tall you can see nothing through it. Where am I? He thought to himself. The room is furniture less, and painted an ugly shade of grey. The only thing existing in the concrete’s confinement is Conan, tightly bound to a wooden chair. His hands were tied with a thick rope, on the back of the chair to his back. He can hear no movement around him. The room is empty, the building is empty. The only thing breaking the eerie silence is the wind rustling the overgrowth outside. He is tied to a chair in the middle of nowhere with no escape. Panic begins to set in, Conan starts to breath faster and faster, he tries to struggle free, but ended tiring himself. He was sweating hard, droplets of liquid dripping off his face. But he became calmer, more collected, as if the sweat themselves were the panic he felt, slowly evaporating away. The only way he can get out of here is that he stays calm. He took a big breath and focused his mind on the space around him. But the room was empty, with no tools to aid him, and to cut the ropes bounding him to the chair. Panic begins to set in once again, and then he remembered, it was so obvious he cursed loudly to himself. The professor equipped him with a shirt sleeve button with a sharp edge! The crazy inventions always come to the rescue at the right time. He worked on the ropes for the next half hour, and finally manages to get himself free. He makes his way slowly and cautiously towards the exit. He walks outside and is surprised that there are no guards or visible traps preventing his escape. As if the criminals do not care if he escapes or not…. Or maybe they wanted him to escape…. Too strange for his comfort, he thought, but can not see any immediate danger, and starts to make his way home. What he doesn’t realise is the tracking device installed into his glasses when he was out, revealing his location, and the dark figure watching his every move, with eyes that seems to glow with an unnatural colour in the dangerous depths of darkness.
